I know it's been awhile since I've done a Health Update Thursday post! The good news is that I'm hanging in there; the bad news is that everyday is constantly go-go-go nuts with my health, homework, Etsy businesses, blogging, my social life, etc.
It seems as if nothing every gets done and I'm going from the time I get up in the morning to the time I go to bed. Thankfully because of all this busyness I've learned how to multitask like a professional but that still doesn't help get everything done half the time.
I envy those website owners that seem to have it all under control!
As for my health, like I mentioned it's going pretty well. Still quite up and down but the good news is that I seem to be having more 'ups' than 'downs' this Fall and Winter. This is the first time since I got sick (almost 10 years ago) that I haven't become totally out of commission after I relapse in the Fall.
The fatigue is still always there and never really changes much aside from sometimes getting a few levels worse. I've learned to do my best to push through and deal with it the best I can.
Legs have been treating me quite well as of late; still have to be careful not to overdo it or stop doing what needs to be done to keep them babies working, but so far so good! That is also a day to day thing.
Pain level, as with everything else, fluctuates on a daily basis and with the weather turning damp and cold it's gotten a few levels higher but nothing that can't be handled. I can only count a handful of times it was up past a within the last month.
I'm currently seeking a new dietary plan to put myself on because I'm hoping that will help take some of the pain away as well as boost my energy and hopefully make me feel more alert. The only problem with that is I'm not quite sure what to try next!
The new doctor I'm going to prescribed me some vitamin D so I've been taking that and I have to order a few more things she wants me on as well as a few things my medical intuitive recommended I take. I'm supposed to go back to acupuncture soon as a treatment recommended by the new doctor so I'm very excited about that. Boy how I've missed acupuncture!
Keep your fingers crossed this is the extent of what I have to deal with this Winter! If that's the case than I'll GLADLY accept the daily pain, fatigue, and occasional use of the walker :)
