KIND Healthy Snacks Review & Breast Cancer Awareness Initiative!

It's recently (and quite rudely) come to my attention courtesy of my rebellious body that my dietary habits need to change. Now, I'm not the unhealthiest eater in the world; I focus on organic and natural clean eating with lots of fruits, veggies, and protein as well as doing my best to stay away from wheat, gluten, sugars, processed foods, etc.

That being said however, I've been indulging WAY too much these past two months and my body has made it known that has to stop.

Thankfully I'm not alone in my journey to eat healthy! With companies like KIND Healthy Snacks and their KIND bars available, I'll have no problem getting back on track.

"There’s healthy. There’s tasty. Then there’s healthy and tasty. At KIND, we believe you deserve both—we call it our brAND philosophy. That’s why you’ll find all of our snacks are pretty much the nirvana of healthful tastiness. What began with just 8 bar varieties in 2004 has grown to over 22 bars and 6 Healthy Grains snackable clusters, and a multitude of new recipes being perfected and refined to our standards in the KIND kitchen."

KIND Healthy Snacks have been a part of my family and my household for quite awhile now! Being naturally gluten-free as well as all natural and non-GMO, the company and its products fit beautifully into mine and my family's healthy eating lifestyle.

Along with their ever popular KIND bars, you will also find healthy grain bars, as well as healthy grain clusters, all of which are gluten-free, all natural, non-GMO, along with a bunch of other health-related goodness!

For this particular review I was provided three different bars from their KIND bar line; Madagascar Vanilla Almond, Pomegranate Blueberry Pistachio + Antioxidants, and finally their Almonds & Apricots in Yogurt.

Madagascar Vanilla Almond

Out of all 3 bars I reviewed, I think this one was my favorite (although it was a super tough choice)! I'm a very simple kind of girl, so the mixture of almonds, peanuts, cashews, and walnuts combined with the sweet flavor of Madagascar vanilla really helped to satisfy my grumbling tummy as well as satisfy my ever present sweet tooth.

Pomegranate Blueberry Pistachio + Antioxidants

Even though the Madagascar Vanilla Almond was my first choice, this was definitely a very close second. That ever present sweet tooth of mine really appreciated the sweetness the combination of dried pomegranate and blueberry bits brought and I quite enjoyed the hit of saltiness that the pistachios provide!

Almonds & Apricots in Yogurt

The Almonds & Apricots bar was more of a tough bar to place for my particular taste palette. Did I like it or not so much? While the dried apricots in the bar gave the it a powerful flavor boost and the yogurt was a sweet, creamy treat, the coconut flavor wasn't one of my favorites. If you're a coconut fan, however, you'll LOVE this bar!
