Introducing my lovely sponsor for this year's Fall Fashionista Giveaway Event starting October 3rd and running through October 9th, please welcome Adrienne of the earth-friendly fashion website, FaeriesDance.com!

'Faerie' is the traditional spelling when one refers to the Celtic myths and folklore of Faeries, sometimes referred to as the Fey or Fair folk. According to many of the stories, Faeries are joyous and carefree creatures with a bit of a mischievous side, but overall kind and good-hearted wee little folk.

It is said they live deep in the heart of the forest and they honor the earth and trees with a deeply ingrained respect.

I will freely admit that I believe in the Faerie folk, so reading through how Faerie'sDance.com got its name excited me, not only because I learned a little more about the idea of Faeries, but also because I truly appreciate the aim of Adrienne and her company!

"Faerie's Dance is not meant as a group of Faeries dancing, but the elegant, frivolous, frolicking dance of an individual Faerie. Each step of the dance is performed wildly, with great pleasure, and yet also honorably and gently with deep reverence. When I decided to open this shop my greatest goal was to ensure that every aspect be prepared with honor to our earth, but also to keep it fun and light; to express that honor not with somber veneration but through joy and delight. I realize that consumerism in general is not exactly the best thing for the planet, but let's face it; our society isn't going to change overnight. So let us joyously embrace who we are. Let us choose wonderful, pretty things that make us feel good about ourselves while simultaneously dancing our blissful dance with gentle footsteps upon the planet

Luxe Chateau Coat
Opening in 2005 and initially offering around 60 pieces of eco-friendly products, Adrienne and the folks that run FaeriesDance.com have been, and are continued to be, committed to providing an environmentally conscious shopping experience for their customers.

Nearly nine years later, their website and products have expanded to over 900 pieces in multiple different categories, but it's something that has maintained it's eco-friendliness and sustainability!

"Our clothing is made of environmentally sensitive fabrics and low-impact dyes. We source products from both US manufacturers and overseas manufacturers who take care to ensure that all workers are treated fairly, are safe from sweatshop conditions and receive living wages. No children are employed by any of our manufacturers here or overseas."

From mens' and womans' clothing and accessories all the way down to kid's apparel, you can find a multitude of different categories while browsing the Faerie's Dance website! Aside from beautiful clothing, the website also offers items like collections of jewelry made from renewable resources, sustainable fashion bags and scarves, to even healthy bath and body products.

While you can find many organic and eco-friendly fashion and accessory items that are beautifully and skillfully crafted, Adrienne informed me that her specialty is environmentally friendly intimates.

As if bettering the planet with their unique brand of clothing and accessories wasn't enough, FaeriesDance.com is also proud to donate some of their profits to 3 different environmental charities!

"FaeriesDance.com is committed to supporting all aspects of environmental sustainability for ourselves, for our children, for humanity as a whole and for all our fellow earthlings. As part of that commitment, we donate 1% of our gross income to charity. That's gross income, so even if we do not make a profit, our charities are still paid."

If you would like to know more about the charities they donate to, you can do so Here

Make sure to come back on October 3rd to learn more about FaeriesDance.com and the Luxe Chateau Coat one lucky TEE reader will be winning!
