Movie Review: Fast & Furious 6

Movie Synopsis:

In the sixth installment of the Fast & Furious series, the family is called back together again from their respective corners of the world for one last mission coordinated by the man with the mission himself, Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson).

Why should they all risk their lives for this one mission? For most, the promise of full pardons all around is plenty inciting. For Dom (Vin Diesel), the possibility of Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) being alive was all he had to hear to jump in on the action.

The mission: Take down a highly skilled military team lead by Shaw (Luke Evans). With technology and gadgets never seen before as well as always seeming to be one step ahead of the family, this is no easy task!

Especially when one of their team IS Letty.

My Thoughts:

I'm a BIG fan of the F&F movies so you best believe I was a giddy as a little kid in a candy store sitting in the theater seats waiting for the movie to start!

Those of us who have seen all movies (yes, even including the black sheep, Tokyo Drift) have grown to know and love these characters; especially since the 5th movie.

Of course the acting is as spot on as ever and I quite enjoyed the plot and the addition of Shaw and his team as the bad guys this go around. Without revealing too much, there are a few twists that I didn't even see coming so that's quite impressive!

That being said, I still think my favorite out of them all is Fast Five, but I'm eagerly anticipating the 7th movie (yes, there will be a 7th). Not sure whether to be upset about it or happy; only time will tell!

Disclaimer: I was in no way compensated for the above post. This is an opinion solely based on my thoughts and opinions of the movie in question and no one elses. I was not influenced one way or another to write the subject matter in this review, so if you don't like it or don't agree with it, that is your choice and I fully respect it so please extend me the same courtesy.

I watched this in the theater with my boys because we're fans of the movie franchise too. The first movie is still my fave but this one was definitely worth the watch.

We saw it in the theater too and I have to say, it was great!! Many 'series' fall short after the 1st one, but this one was just as fun and intense as the first!! ~KM

I guess I made a mistake to stop watching them then. I'll have to catch up!

Good review, even though I'm not a F&F fan. As the old saying goes, "Different strokes for different folks." :D
