Simple Snack Food--Simply 8 Cookies

How many of us have gone to the grocery store and picked something off the shelf, flipped it over to look at the ingredient list and were bombarded with 9 million different ingredients, three fourths of which aren't recognizable or even pronounceable?

Based out of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Simply Eight is a relatively new start up with a relatively simple premise: 'Just 8 or less all-natural ingredients.'  That's 8 all-natural ingredients fully recognizable AND pronounceable.

A little about Simply Eight:

"At Simply Eight, we challenge the status quo of the processed foods industry and believe great tasting convenient breakfast and snack foods can be made … simpler – without all the complicated inventions of modern food science."

They also pride themselves on avoiding the need for things like high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, artificial flavors, colors or genetically modified organisms in their products!

Sadly their line of cookies and chewy granola bars can only be found in select Meijer and Kroger stores in Michigan, however if you're patient enough, you'll soon find their products being sold on Amazon.

Sounds like I will need to be patient! I would love to have something delicious with simple ingredients on hand for those days when scratch baking just isn't going to happen.
