I was lucky enough to be one of the lucky chosen to receive their 2013 SweetHeart VoxBox! With not knowing what goodies will be received, I was eagerly awaiting it's arrival!

My take on Influenster's SweetHeart VoxBox:

Olay Fresh Effects {Shine, Shine Go Away!} Shine Minimizing Cleanser--$6.99 for 5 oz.

  • I was pretty excited to be able to try this facial cleansing product along with the application system it came with. I'm not really very knowledgeable on skin care products so when I'm able to try out something new, I get excited. The smell of the product as well as the texture were very pleasing but unfortunately for the shine minimizing cleanser, it made my skin feel greasy the whole day after I used it. I'm very sensitive to different beauty products so that could definitely have played a factor in the adverse response! Aside from that, I was not a fan of all the chemicals that went into the cleanser, so I will not be using this again.

Olay Fresh Effects {Va-Va-Vivid!} Powered Contour Cleansing System--$12.99

  • Aside from the cleanser itself, the contour cleansing system was something I did quite enjoy! It's very compact and easy to use; you just dab a little bit of what facial product your using on the bristles, wet and apply in gentle, circular motions over the face of the skin. As per the description, this little beauty liberates skin from dirt, oil, and makeup for a clean that is 400% better than basic cleansing. Wow!

Secret Clinical Strength Stress Response--$7.99 to $9.99

  • While I'm usually a big fan of Secret and use their deodorants in my daily life, I wasn't really thrilled about this new stress response product. Firstly, I'm not huge on powdered deodorants in the first place because I feel they promote moisture instead of taking it away and I felt this particular deodorant embodied that; halfway through the day my shirt felt wet and uncomfortable. The smell of the stress response deodorant was also a little too strong for me to take. Even my mom asked if I was wearing perfume as I walked past her while wearing it.

Skinnygirl Daily On-The-Go Bars--$9.99 per box of 5 bars

  • Everyone who is an avid reader knows I have a weakness for snack bars! This was the first thing to be used (er...eaten) when that voxbox was opened up. I had never had Skinnygirl products before, so this was my first experience and I must say I really enjoyed the flavor I got (Coco-Nut with Peanut Butter). The only thing that had me a little hesitate when it came to these bars was while doing a little research on the ingredients that go into them, there were a few things I questioned. Example, no where did I find if they were GMO free or not. Regardless, I think it's a decent snack for someone who isn't worried about being totally organic!

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray--$6.00 for full size

  • Again, due to my sensitive nature when it comes to non-organic beauty products, I didn't have the best results with this hair styling product. It says it creates a voluminous texturized and wind-swept 'waves' look, but I didn't really see anything except greasy hair. In my personal opinion, I say if you're interested in getting your hair to look wind-swept and texturized, try this for yourself! Your results might vary from mine and your hair could turn out incredible!

It's unfortunate that the Secret Clinical Strength Stress Response deoderant didn't work as well as I was hoping to read it would. Out of the products that you received in your Sweetheart Voxbox, that is the product I would have probably sought out the next time I was at the store, having some issues when it comes to stress-related perspiration and all myself. Would love to find a great deoderant that could really take care of that.
