Health Update Thursday(8/15)

What can I bring to you this Thursday?

I really have no idea what to say in regards to my health anymore; the last HUT, I was seeing some improvement and was thrilled to be able to get my BSBP pieces done in time for the reveal. A little after that, I headed downhill pretty fast and that lasted for a couple of days.

Fast forward to the last two days or so-saw positive, little steps forward until last night when I sneezed and my whole body just Flipped. S*&#!

Of course it could be a few things, but can we pinpoint it exactly; no.

I know my body is just infested with toxic buildup and right now there's not much I can do to detox except eat detoxifying foods and possibly find some detox things to drink. My problem with detoxing is if I do it TOO fast, it's just as detrimental as not doing it at all!

Along with the severe ovary and abdominal pain I've started to get some nasty lower back pain (no doubt due to being in bed all day), as well as pretty bad joint and nerve pain which comes and goes in its severity.

Sleeping is very hard because the position I'm most comfortable in (my tummy) is too painful, so I have to sleep propped up with pillows and that doesn't equal a good night's sleep for me unfortunately.

Goodness gracious! Frustration imminent!

If anyone has any thoughts or ideas, I'm ALL ears.

girrl i wish i could do more for you than pray but that's all i can do at the moment. until i hit the lotto. my brother-in-law swears by the products on this site: http://www.biolifenow.com/ he use to have all kinds of stomach and liver issues now the man runs around like he's 15 years younger, but he's also got money coming out of his arse. take a look when you have time and tell me what you think. i barely know anything about herbs and natural stuff so i can't judge for myslef but hubby's been bugging me that we need to buy something for me.

Okay, I might be able to help with a couple of things the detoxing, no I'm sorry. I know nothing about that, but your ovaries what does your OB say? When I had that prob I was given antibiotics and poof it went away. I also drank a lot of tea (but cranberry juice is better, but I hat that stuff... unless vodka is in it & seltzer hehehehe). Now, pain we've discussed this before mind over matter before, but you have to really concentrate like you never have before. The other thing at night I take two Tramadol and in the morning I take vicodin. If I sit all day legs swell like watermelons so I get up and walk around the house doing dishes, laundry etc. only one thing then I go sit again, and then I also have 2 & 3 lb weights that I lift while sitting. I also have a bike thingy on the desk & ride under the desk with my feet thus moving legs and working muscles while sitting. Walks up & down the drive-way is good. Close to home if you get tired see. Not moving is why you have pain. Muscles get confused and kinda holler at you that's the pain. Catch my drift. Even if it's only five minutes here and there. Try it if you can & good luck honey. OH and of course my prayers will help eventually I promise.

I suggest... a good soaking tub, those can be magical; and if you put in soak in some epsom salt mix you might be able to help draw out some of the toxins.

Another thing I've heard a lot about and may eventually look into are essential oils, they may be 'mystical' or they may just be a super distraction, but the people who swear by them are religious about it.

I think you're on the right track though :) It'll improve, just perhaps not rapidly.

I'm wondering if a waterbed would help you. Do they even have those anymore?

Do you take baths? I hear they can be soothing. I haven't had one before, but I probably will sometime.

I pray for more good times that are longer.

You poor thing ... I second the waterbed suggestion. It was my miracle when I was pregnant and allowed me to tummy sleep (the only way I can sleep).
