Bea Arthur (Dorthy of The Golden Girls and Maude of All in the Family) was a Broadway singer and I personally did not know this until I started watching The Girls.

I just fell in love with Edith Piaf and her singing when I first caught her rendition of La Vie En Rose.

Hmmm I like that Edith Piaf one. I think I've heard it before but not sure.

Very nice ones girl!

Happy Monday to you.

Oh, really enjoyed hearing Bea sing! I love that - when you discover something previously unknown and not what you might have imagined about a performer. just great.
Knew Edith would be awesome though ;)

I love Bea Arthur - how unique the way you have it & the comparison. Thank you for sharing such a special moment.

Many of yesterday stars could sing. They came from a time when to entertain meant "entertain". They could act, sing, dance, & more! Good choices and thanks for joining us always on Monday's Music Moves Me, Sweetie!

I know how much you love the Golden Girls, but I never knew that Bea Arthur could sing. Nice of you to share.
I have never hear of the second artist, but what an amazing voice. I have no idea what she is saying, but WOW.
Hope you are having a fab summer.
