A Colorful Container of Joy {With a Sharpener}

I haven't been feeling well lately, so when I'm up and {somewhat} functioning, I.E. actually walking with or without the aid of Johnny Walker Blue, my trusty walker {creative name, no?}, I try to make the most of it before it disappears.

The other day I woke up in a great deal of pain, but after I had done my morning footbath, I was upright and walking, so my mom and I decided to take a quick trip to the Michael's crafting store just 5 minutes away from our house because I've been needing some special glue for my jewelry making.

As I walked through the isles, I came across one of the things that made the little kid in me squeal with delight:

Not just any crayons either; the mother-load of all crayons. The 150 crayon TOWER.

I put it in the card and walked around with it. I REALLY wanted it. But towards the end of our trip, I decided to put it back because I really couldn't afford it. My mom suggested instead I get a smaller amount what we could pair with the 40% off coupon we had.

My mom set off to get me a smaller box {at that time I was clinging to the card trying not to pass out} and when she came back, I didn't see a box. However, she did tell me she needed the 40%, so I willingly gave it over-I mean if she found something she wanted, she should use it, right?

Just then, she plops the tower on the counter and I almost cried.

I love my mommy :)

P.s. Did I mention this tower comes with a removable crayon SHARPENER!?

P.p.s. You can thank my boyfriend for that awesome blog post title ^.^

I seriously LOVE that idea! I've not seen that yet but my kids would love the tower so much more then the box (& i imagine it's easier to keep in one place). Going to keep my eye out for one!

Kayla, I'd be squealing, too! I used to love all of the colors in a big 64 or 128 box of Crayola crayons!!! I don't know if we have any around here anymore, since Steven's in 7th grade now!
