Nature is so Awesome.

The other day, my sister went out to get the mail and came back with something that was most definitely NOT various bits of paper stuffed in envelopes and free samples.

It was much prettier!

I have no idea the species of this moth/butterfly, but it was as big as my sister's hand both width and length wise, and was the most beautiful shade of green with four, little 'eyes' strategically placed on it's back.

Oh! Make sure to see it's antenni, too! They are so COOL O.o

Nature never ceases to amaze.

It's a Luna moth... one of my favorites & the Luna caterpillar is almost as pretty. I am right there with you on how nature never ceases to amaze. I am trying to teach my four year old as much as I can about nature too, I don't ever want her to take it for granted.

Girl, what's wrong with you? You don't know what it is DON'T TOUCH IT! What if it would've bit you or something, and Lord knows what would happen then. I've never seen such a think. It don't even look real, but ewwwwwww! Did you touch it or was that your sister? omg You scare me half to death! Now be a good girl, and go blog hop or something.
