Welcome to Music Moves Me Monday!

This meme is hosted by a group of seriously great people-Dolly of XmasDolly, Lorie of The Shewbridges of Central Florida, Larrie of CakeBlast, and last but certainly not least, Callie of JAmericanSpice!

Here are the rules if you wanted to participate::

First step: Run over to You Tube, (or wherever), and lock & load! Get your pick for the theme of the week.

Second Step: Grab our "Monday's Music Moves Me" button::

Third step: SIGN THE LINKY - Dance (follow) your host/hostesses, and grab their buttons.

Final step: Start lookin' for a partner and boogie on down to her blog, and say hello, and tag (follow) her/him, and leave a nice comment. If you've been tagged (followed) be hip, and get on over there, and tag (follow) her back and leave a comment.

When I first set eyes on this week's theme, Gospel/Spiritual, I immediately drew a blank. I don't really listen to anything like that, and I couldn't even come up with a song to put down.

Then I remembered my favorite artist and band, Florence + The Machine, IS inspired and incorporates a gospel theme in most of their songs.

So here is my choice for this week-Enjoy!

Florence + The Machine-Rabbit Heart

Have a musical week everyone!

This week has not only been inspirational, but an education for me. I like you don't really listen to this type of music around here. Rock & Roll is the game around here. So thank you for playing along with us today & hope to see you next week too. Hugs and good health vibes your way my friend! CM

I've never heard this song or this artist but I love it! Incorporating gospel elements makes for really interesting lyrics, doesn't it?

Do you like Yanni - hmmm not sure if you would call it classical, but I would call it different. Stop by, and check it out if you have the time. I think it's cool. I hope all is well with you. My relapse from my flu is starting to subside AGAIN! :(

I've never heard of this group, but the song was really cool.
I'm glad you are playing along each week now, you have quite an "eclectic" taste in music... Hey, that would make a cool name for your blog. HaHa
Hope you are having a great week.
