Movie Synopsis:

Olive (Emma Stone) is by all accounts a normal, invisible high school student going through her waking days being ignored. She's not popular, she's not athletic, she's not brainy-She blends in. A little TOO well.

All until an accidental rumor spread by the school's religious fanatic, Marianne (Amanda Bynes) turns her from being invisible to the school tramp in mere seconds thanks a great deal to technology. Her newfound 'popularity' in mind, Olive unknowingly gives her gay tormented friend, Brandon (Dan Bryd) an idea: have an imaginary fling so he can survive high school without being beaten up everyday.

Not one to do something half-assed, Olive agrees and does it up right. But again, she does it a little TOO well. Before she knows it, all the spurned, geeky, and nerdy guys are coming to her begging for help, to which she feels obligated to do...for a price.

However, even though she pretends being the school tramp doesn't affect her with witty jokes and rebellion, it slowly starts wearing on her. Her accidental-rumor-turned-carefully-constructed-charade starts to engulf her and her life and she knows she has to fix it.

Question is, how?

My Thoughts:

Ever since I saw Easy A's trailer back a couple months ago, it was like I. MUST. SEE. THIS. MOVIE!! It was seriously my kind of movie-The wit, the humor, the actors; the whole kitten-kaboodle.

The thing about movies that I REALLY want to see is they rarely live up to my expectations-Very few of them do and this movie unfortunately wasn't one of them. That being said however, I didn't NOT like this movie.

The actors and acting in the movie were probably the best thing about it aside from {my personal favorite} the witty repartee--Major kudos to the writer Burt V. Royal for such an AMAZING script!

Oh, and a totally wicked 80's movie shout out!

Anyway, the movie did have the normal romantic comedy predictability about it, but the thing that really turned me off was the fact that it was just too NEAT. Like life, even normal romantic comedy movie predictability life, NEVER happens like that. It was almost boringly connect-the-dots simple.

All in all, it was an okay movie-Not great. Not horrible. Definitely worth a see though!

**This is an opinion solely based on my thoughts and opinions of the movie in question and no one elses. I was not influenced one way or another to write the subject matter in this review, so if you don't like it or don't agree with it, that is your choice and I fully respect it so please extend me the same curtsy**
