Slapdash Sunday(6/6)

Slapdash Sunday is a day for your proverbial week 'leftovers.' Is there something you wanted to say, but just forgot? Is there something you want to write about, but isn't worth a whole page? Do you have a random thought, funny or otherwise that needs to be written down?
That is what Slapdash Sunday is for!

So. I think I may be a little nutty in the brain.

I decided to sign up for an English 101 class on a whim yesterday.

Guess when it starts?

What can I say; I'm a glutton for punishment ;)

How come there are commercials on television for places that aren't even REMOTELY close to you?

Seriously, why tempt me with delicious treats from a far away restaurant or a beautiful diamond ring (like I'd ever get THAT) in some fancy shmancy jewelry shop nearly a state over....To me it seems unusually cruel =/

I've slowly started getting myself back into the contest scene-A little swimming suit here, a little gift card there.

What I'm really trying to get is one of those CSN Stores gift cards cause I have my eye on a little corner desk for my room :)

Let's see if I'm REALLY talented and can keep it up while taking my 8 week, 4 day a week English class!

Yay for English! I've actually been tossing around the idea of taking a writing or journalism class. I think it would be fun, but I don't know when I'd have the time to do it!

Good luck on the English class! Summer classes are a bit challenging, but you can do it!

I also hope you win the CSN giveaway to get your desk. Love it.

Please, oh please after you take the class, don't give those of us who are horrible at the written English language scoldings for improper sentence and paragraphy structure.
I know I'm not good at structuring my sentences and proper use of the comma, semicolon, and periods. Even worse I make run on sentences and paragraphs.
I had English going through school and even in College and I personally must have had the worst teachers in this area out there. Only one year in high school in creative writing class did I think I had a half decent English teacher. I really don't think I learned much of anything in my English classes except how to go to the Library, pick out a book to read and make a book report on.
I never had to do a term paper until I hit college and then only one in college.
So please oh please have mercy and overlook the terrible mistakes some of us, well me, make when leaving a comment on your blog.
Good luck in school.

♥ Congrats on taking a new class: We human will never stop learning and you'll do fantastic.

♥ I love that corner desk!!!

♥ Think how expensive and very cost ineffective those ads must be! I don't get it either.

♥ And glad you liked the twilight giveaway :)
