Mailbox Monday(2/29)

Mailbox Monday divulges into the inner workings of my mailbox throughout the week. From books to jewelry to free samples to random magazines and letters-You never know what will be in the mail this week...

***********************************************************************

I got my $25.00 gift certificate to Kroger (or here, it's known as Hilander) earlier this week courtesy of Jill over at Frugal Plus!

Now I can pick up supplies for that dinner I've been wanting to make for the longest time...

I suppose in order to pick up those supplies, I need to pick a recipe first >.<

Okay, this didn't come in the mail, but I acquired it this week none the less, so I thought I would share my amazing deal with you guys so you can bask in the glow that is Kayla, The Garage, Yard and Estate Sale Extraordinaire!

On Tuesday, my mother decided to surprise me by taking me to an estate sale where I was as happy as a giddy, little school girl(I'm not sure where that phrase comes from, but it fits the situation).

I ventured into the garage where they had many books, tools and other odds and ends and found this box FULL of different ribbon-Now I can make my packages look pretty when I send them out :D

My dad had me order a premium set of walkie talkies that he's been eye ballin' for awhile now-I got them off of Ebay and they arrived last Thursday.

Unfortunately, after opening the box we found out they were NOT the product that the seller had listed and furthermore, they weren't 'New' as was advertised in the listing...Needless to say we are very disappointed and will be sending them back :(

At least the seller has agreed to work with us!

It must be a week for gift certificates because I just got my Macy's gift card in the mail on Friday!!

Thanks to Jennifer of Eighty MPH Mom for this opportunity :)

Now what should I get!?

What did you get in the mail this week?

I have never sold anything online, but if I did list something, it would be an honest and forthright description. Honesty is a vanishing commodity.
