Slapdash Sunday(2/28)

Slapdash Sunday is a day for your proverbial week 'leftovers.' Is there something you wanted to say, but just forgot? Is there something you want to write about, but isn't worth a whole page? Do you have a random thought, funny or otherwise that needs to be written down?
That is what Slapdash Sunday is for!

So I have been officially dubbed Detective Kayla thanks to my buddy Matty of Matty Thoughts!

May I just say WHOO HOO...I've always thought I was a good observer with some serious deductive skills; Well that, and I try to use my common sense most of the time. Lol

I'm a bonafied Sherlock Holmes of the 21st century ;)

Natural Mommie has written an absolutely AMAZING post about the newest must haves for Spring and traveling-I'm absolutely in love with the strapless dress in her post ^.^

Okay I need everyone's help!!

I have an Oscar party to go to on the 7th of March and the hostess wants us to dress up as our
favorite movie actresses/actors...

I honestly have NO clue what I want to do >.<

My mother and I just got done with watching the gold metal curling championship and may I just say:

Congratulations Canada for winning the gold, but Norway's infamous argyle pants will live on!

I want a pair.

BADLY

Okay, I must have totally missed the argyle pants. I was watching a bit of curling the other day. I don't know if I was hypnotized or just bored senseless. Sometimes it amounts to the same thing. I'm not sure what to think of the sport.

Kayla - not as if you need even more evidence that you're uber terrific but you can come to my blog to pick up yet another award. :)

Well, if Sherlock Holmes is on the Oscar list, you could go as Detective Kayla. Other than that, you've got lots to choose from.

Those argyle pants are cute. I bet you could pull it off. I've linked up this week. Yay.

I think they make a statement...I just can't speak Norwegian! (LOL)

I think you should go as "Kojak". You might be too young to know who I'm talking about. If so, Google him. Then put on a suit and a bald hat, stick a lollipop in your mouth, and walk around all night saying "who loves ya baby".

I love that dress too

What a really cool idea for a party on Oscar night... I'd go as Audrey Hepburn... but that is just me! :-)
Those pants are probably the ONLY reason to watch curling! (Sorry to dis Canada like that, no offense.) I don't understand the game AT.ALL. I don't even know how they call it a sport... the players don't need to be in shape and they celebrate by drinking at a bar. I'm surprised us Irish people don't have a winning team!! :-)
Make sure you take pics of your party outfit.
