Mailbox Monday(8/10)

Mailbox Monday divulges into the inner workings of my mailbox throughout the week. From books to jewelry to free samples to random magazines and letters-You never know what will be in the mail this week...

1. I know I didn't actually get this in the mail, but I wanted to share it with you guys anyway! My sister had gone up north with her close friend before the school year started for a week or so and had just come back last Monday. She was so nice to bring me back a present :D It's a gorgeous stone carved owl with another owl in the center-It's so wonderful! Another owl to add to my ever growing collection!

2. Another non-mail thing I received was from my sister's boyfriend's sister. She made me an adorable keychain from some multicolored plastic beads-It was so adorable! When I'm better, I'm thinking of asking him to bring her out so I can teach her jewelry making =]

3. No I DID get this in the mail-A copy of Educating Esme: Diary of a Teacher's First Year by Esme Raji Codell. I'm participating in an author stop later within the next month or two so stay tuned for that!! It's my first one so I'm EXTREMELY excited!

4. From one of my freebie sites, I came across a booklet all about Herbs at a Glance-You better believe I signed up for that! And I got it in the mail this week(it's so awesome).

5. As you know, I have been working with the amazing Max of Krafty Max Originals-She has done a few giveaways with The Eclectic Element. She was so sweet to send me a wonderful thank you gift(which she knows she didn't have to do-Lol-)!! I can't wait till I'm up and moving so I can wear it out of the house :D :D :D

6. I had won the comment contest over at my good friend Ruthie's blog, Rose Works Jewelry and I got to pick something from her shop with my gift certificate :D I chose the Custom Spiral Hemp Bracelet(in tan) and I just got it on Saturday-I'm so excited to own a Ruthie Original ^.^

7. Thanks to the guys over at Technest Report, I won a $15.00 gift card to iTunes! There is a great story behind that so keep your eyes peeled for a post regarding Technest.

I totally remember those triangular beads! I use to make so much stuff with those things. What a lucky duck receiving all that swag!
